Chypre fut le premier pays a révélé son artiste pour l’Eurovision 2017, c’était en octobre dernier.

Il s’agit d’un artiste du nom d’Hovig, né à Nicosie, d’origine arménienne et dont la chanson sera composée par un… Suédois ! (Thomas G:Son, déjà à l’origine du titre de Minus One l’année dernière). Joli cocktail en perspectives !

Jamais deux sans trois ! Hovig a tenté l’Eurovision à deux reprises, en 2010 puis en 2015 pour Chypre. Cette année, aucune sélection nationale puisqu’il a été directement choisi par la télévision chypriote (CyBC).

La chanson pour Kiev s’intitule « Gravity ».

Cyprus was the first country to reveal its artist for Eurovision Song Contest 2017, it was in last October.

It will be an artist named Hovig, born in Nicosia and of Armenian origin. His song will be composed by a...Swede! (Thomas G:Son, who already was behind the song of Minus One last year). A great mixture in sight!

Everything comes in threes! Hovig tried his luck in Eurovision twice, in 2010 and then in 2015 for Cyprus. This year, no national selection because he has directly been chosen by Cyprus TV (CyBC).

The title of the song for Kiev is « Gravity ».
