2012, le Concours se déroule pour la première fois en Azerbaïdjan pour sa 57^ème édition.

Pour l’occasion, le pays du feu a mis les petits plats dans les grands en construisant le superbe Crystal Hall à Bakou.

C’est également un Concours basé sous le signe de la sécurité.

Décalage horaire oblige, les deux demi-finales et la grande finale (plus les finales jurys) débutent à minuit, heure de Bakou, afin de permettre au public Européen d’assister aux spectacles à l’heure habituelle, soit 21 heures.

La France mise sur un atout charme avec Anggun, mais la chorégraphie et la mise en scène ne mettent pas en valeur la beauté et le charisme de notre représentante qui obtient une décevante 22^ème place.

Grande favorite, Loreen remporte une 5^ème victoire pour la Suède avec la chanson « Euphoria ».

« That’s Eurovision ! » vous propose un arrêt sur la prestation de l’Estonie. Véritable coup de cœur pour de nombreux fans, Ott Lepland va ensorceler le public et le jury avec sa gueule d’ange. Portée par la voix puissante de l’artiste, « Kuula » est un titre fort, une ballade qui va crescendo jusqu’à la fin des trois minutes règlementaires.

A l’occasion du Concours, le titre a été remixé pour en donner cette version toute en émotion.

L’Estonie remporte la 6^ème place du Concours 2012, soit l’un de ses plus beaux résultats.

Né en 1987, Ott Lepland chante depuis l’âge de 8 ans mais s’est fait connaître plus particulièrement en 2010 en remportant la victoire du « Pop Idol ». Son dernier (et quatrième) album est sorti en 2015.

En avril dernier, un duo avec Liis Lemsalu est paru, la chanson s’intitule « Süda Taob » (Battements de cœur).

2012, for its 57^th edition, the Contest takes place for the first time in Azerbaijan.

For this occasion, the land of fire has mobilized itself and built the superb Crystal Hall in Baku.

This is also a Contest based under the sign of security.

Because of the jet lag, the two semi finals and the grand final (plus the jury finals) start at midnight local time, in order to permit to the European audience to watch the shows at the usual time, 9 p.m.

France bets on a charming asset with Anggun, but the choregraphy and the staging do not showcase the beauty and the charisma of our representant who obtains a disappointing 22^nd place.

Big favorite, Loreen grabs a 5^th victory for Sweden with the song « Euphoria ».

« That’s Eurovision ! » proposes you to take a break with the performance of Estonia. A real heart stroke for numerous fans, Ott Lepland will captivate the audience and the jury with his angel face. Carried by the powerfull voice of the artist, « Kuula » is a strong song, a ballad that goes crescendo until the end of the three official minutes.

On the occasion of the Contest, the song has been remixed to provide all this emotion.
