From Kiev with Love - Ilinca and Alex Florea - Romania

Ilinca & Alex Florea ont terminé à la 7ème place du Concours Eurovision. Avec cet excellent résultat, le duo permet à son pays un retour en force après une année d'exclusion.

La Roumanie avait dû se retirer du Concours 2016 tardivement pour des raisons financières.

Le pays est entré dans le Concours en 1993 mais devra attendre 1994 pour pouvoir participer. Depuis la mise en place des demi-finales en 2004, la Roumanie s'est toujours qualifiée pour la grande finale.

Au cours des 10 dernières années, le pays a obtenu deux top 10.

• 2010 (Paula Seling & Ovi « Playing with Fire »), 3ème,

• 2017 (Ilinca & Alex Florea « Yodel it ! »), 7ème.

Ilinca & Alex Florea ended at the 7^th position in this Eurovision Song Contest. With this excellent result, the duet gaved their country a great come back after a year out of the Contest.

Romania had to withdraw from Eurovision lately in 2016 for financial causes.

The country entered the Contest in 1993 but had to wait 1994 to participate. Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Romania always qualified in the grand final.

During those 10 last years, the country's got two top 10.

• 2017 (Ilinca & Alex Florea « Yodel it ! »), 7^th.
