Imri a obtenu une 23^ème position lors du Concours Eurovision à Kiev. Le jeune artiste a participé à trois Concours d’affilée puisqu’il était choriste en 2015 et en 2016.

Israël a fait son entrée au Concours en 1973 et a remporté la victoire à trois reprises.

1978 (Izahr Cohen & Alpha Beta « A-Ba-Ni-Bi »),
1979 (Milk & Honey and Gali Atari « Hallelujah »,
1998 (Dana International « Diva »).

Depuis l’introduction des demi-finales en 2004, Israël s’est qualifié 8 fois pour la grande finale. Au cours des 10 dernières années, le pays a placé deux chansons dans le top 10.

2008 (Bo’az Ma’uda « The Fire in Your Eyes »), 9^ème,
2015 (Nadav Guedj « Golden Boy »), 9^ème.
