Norway - Jowst (Grab the Moment)

C’est au tour de la Norvège de choisir son artiste pour le 62^ème Concours Eurovision.

Comme à son habitude, c’est au cours du « Melodi Grand Prix » que sera couronné l’artiste qui représentera son pays à Kiev, ce sera aussi la 56^ème participation de la Norvège à l’Eurovision.

A ce jour, le pays a remporté 3 victoires (1985, 1995 et 2009), mais détient également un autre record, celui du pays ayant le plus souvent terminé à la dernière position (11 fois, dont 4 fois avec « zéro point »).

Une seule soirée, une seule finale, 10 artistes. C’est le menu au programme de la finale norvégienne.

Comme ce fut le cas en 1985 et en 1995 (deux des trois victoires), le pays fera appel à un jury international lors de la phase de votes.

Sur les 10 chansons retenues pour la finale, une seule est interprétée en norvégien.

C’est Jowst qui a été couronné vainqueur avec la chanson "Grab the Moment".

This is Norway’s turn to choose its artist for the 62^nd Eurovision Song Contest.    

As usual, it’s during the « Melodi Grand Prix » that will be crowded the artist who will represent his country in Kiev, it will also be the 56^th participation of Norway in the Contest.

Till this day, the country grabbed 3 victories (1985, 1995 and 2009) but also holds another record, that of the country which ended most often last in the Contest (11 times, and 4 times with “No points at all”).

Only one night, only one final, 10 artists.  This is the menu of the Norwegian final.

As it was the case in 1985 and 1995 (two of the three victories), the country will call on an international jury during the phase of votes.

Among the 10 selected songs for the final, only one is performed in Norwegian.

It’s Jowst who has been crowded winner with the song "Grab the Moment".
