Sweden 2019 - John Lundvik (Too Late For Love)

La Suède est le dernier pays à révéler le nom de son artiste pour Tel Aviv.

John Lundvik portera les couleurs de son pays avec la chanson « Too Late For Love »

Si Malte, Israël et l’Arménie doivent encore annoncer la chanson, ils ont déjà présenté leurs artistes.

Nous voici donc à la fin de longues semaines de sélections, d’espoirs, de joies et de déceptions pour nombre d’entre nous.

Le Melodifestivalen 2019 a proposé 12 chansons pour sa grande finale :

• Jon Henrik Fjällgren « Norrsken (Goeksegh) »,
• Lisa Ajax « Torn »,
• Mohombi « Hello »,
• Lina Hedlund « Victorious »,
• Bishara « On My Own »,
• Anna Bergendahl « Ashes To Ashes »,
• Nano « Chasing Rivers »,
• Hanna Ferm & LIAMOO « Hold You »,
• Malou Prytz « I Do Me »,
• John Lundvik « Too Late For Love »,
• Wiktoria « Not With Me »,
• Arvingarna « I Do ».

Nous avons ainsi eu le plaisir de revoir des visages familiers ; Anna Bergendahl avait représenté la Suède au Concours 2010. Elle reste à ce jour la seule artiste à ne pas être parvenue en finale pour la Suède.

Le groupe Arvingarna avait lui aussi représenté la Suède, c’était en 1993 à Millstreet, en Irlande. Ils avaient terminé à la 7^ème place avec « Eloise ».

Lina Hedlund a déjà participé au MF à plusieurs reprises, que ce soit en solo, en duo ou au sein du groupe Alcazar.

Wiktoria, Lisa Ajax, Nano, Jon Henrik Fjällgren et John Lundvik ont eux aussi déjà fait partie des précédentes sélections du MF.

Ce dernier est d’ailleurs l’un des compositeurs de la chanson pour le Royaume-Uni cette année (« Bigger Than Us », interprétée par Michael Rice).

A Lisbonne, Benjamin Ingrosso avait terminé 7^ème en finale avec la chanson « Dance You Off ».

Sweden is the last country to reveal the name of their artist for Tel Aviv.

John Lundvik will carry the colours of his country with the song «Too Late For Love».

Malta, Israel and Armenia still have to announce the song, but they already presented their artists.

So this is the end of long weeks of selections, hopes, delights and disappointments for a lot of us.

We had the pleasure to meet again with familiar faces ; Anna Bergendahl represented Sweden in Eurovision 2010. Till today she is the only artist who failed to reach the final for Sweden.

Arvingarna also represented Sweden, it was in 1993 in Millstreet, Ireland. They ended at the 7^th position with « Eloise ».

Lina Hedlund already took part in MF many times, as a solo artist, in a duet or with the band Alcazar.

Wiktoria, Lisa Ajax, Nano, Jon Henrik Fjällgren and John Lundvik also took part in previous MF selections.

Otherwise, this last one is one of the composer of this year’s  song for the United Kingdom (« Bigger Than Us », performed by Michael Rice).
