La 56^ème édition du « Festivali I Këngës » a dévoilé le candidat pour le prochain Concours Eurovision à Lisbonne.

A l’issue de deux demi-finales, 14 candidats se sont succédés afin de nous offrir un artiste pour 2018.

C’est Eugent Bushpepa, 33 ans, qui a remporté le droit de représenter son pays, l’Albanie.

Il s’agit d’un artiste dont la fibre musicale a été fortement influencée par le rock, disons même le rock métal.

A ce jour, Eugent a surtout interprété de nombreuses reprises, il a également accompagné des groupes de rock pendant leurs tournée.

La chanson pour Lisbonne s’intitule « Mall ». Si le pays poursuit sa façon de faire, il est fortement probable que la chanson soit traduite en Anglais pour le Concours.

L’Albanie ne s’est plus qualifiée pour la finale depuis le Concours 2015.

The 56th edition of « Festivali I Këngës » has revealed its candidate for the next Eurovision Song Contest that will take place in Lisbon.

At the end of two semi finals, 14 artists has succeeded to each other in order to offer us a singer for 2018.

This is Eugent Bushpepa, 33 years old, who won the right to represent his country, Albania.

He is an artist who has been influenced by rock music, let’s even say by rock metal music.

To this day, Eugent has above all sung numerous covers, he also accompanied rock bands during their concert.

The title of the song for Lisbon is «Mall». If the country follows in the same way, the song will probably be translated to English for the Contest.

Albania has failed to qualify for the final since the 2015 Contest.
