Michael Schulte représentera l’Allemagne à Lisbonne avec la chanson « You Let Me Walk Alone ».

C’est en direct de Berlin que s’est déroulée l’émission « Unser Lied für Lissabon ».

6 artistes ont été retenus par la NDR après un premier tri d’un peu plus de 200 chansons.

• Ryk « You and I »,
• voXXclub « I mog Di so »,
• Xavier Darcy « Jonah »,
• Ivy Quainoo « House on Fire »,
• Michael Shulte « You Let Me Walk Alone ».

L’Allemagne a participé à tous les Concours depuis 1956 excepté en 1996 où la chanson « Planet of Blue », interprétée par Leon n’avait pas pu se qualifier.

L’Allemagne fait partie du « Big 5 » et est donc qualifiée d’office pour la grande finale du samedi 12 mai au Portugal.

Germany participated in each Contest since 1956 except in 1996 when the song « Planet of Blue », sung by Leon failled to qualify.

Germany is part of the « Big 5 » and is automatically qualfied for the grand final, Saturday May 12^nd in Portugal.
